Automatically Set Signals / Automatic Signaller

Is there anyway I can get signals to be set automatically by the AI?

E.g. Let's say I want to drive the ECML from KC to Doncaster or maybe take a Deltic on one for the ECML branches. If I just went into quick drive and tried to drive this I may have to do lost of complex switching of points while travelling at close to 100 mph. If I were to add in a couple of AI train which chains the points for themselves it'd become an almost impossible job (I think!)

So is it possible to get the AI/Trainz to automatically set the points for a route E.g. between two track-marks or platforms (while of course I still maintain control of the train)?

The best success I had with this sort of thing was by using the 'set junctions' rule. The best way is to create your own session for the route or edit the original and save as. Then in the session rules, add and look for 'set junctions'. You'll then have to work along the desired route, adding each junction along the way and setting it left/right etc. If the junction is already set to allow your train to pass then you shouldn't have to add it.

Then once you drive the session...any AI's that pass through the junction should reset the junction back to your setting after they pass through it leaving an all clear for your train to pass safely. Well it worked for me seemlessly anyway.

You may wanna try it out first over a couple of miles of track to check it works before getting carried away along an hundred mile stretch.
