Auther unknown

You may have created the route when not logged in. With no user assigned the route will have a -2: author.

If not I recommend running a database repair.

You could edit the config file, change the user part of the KUID to your ID, save (not commit as that wont work) and import that route.

Thank you for the replies gents, What has happened is I had a route and session in archive, but now the session has my name as author, but the route has the author as unknown. And I cannot attach the session to the route.

Did you try following my instructions?

Once you did, edit the config file of the session to point to the new KUID. Problem solved.

Did try to alter the config file in explorer, kuid starts with -2 perhaps I'm trying to alter the wrong line in the file. anyway all I got was access denied.

Thanks for your help.

Ed.

Firstly, as I asked, what is the actual KUID it is giving you prior to the change?

Secondly, you will need to save the file to the Desktop then move it back into the asset folder.
