Australian houses, new paint job...

Hi all,

Just wondering about a new paint job on all the In-built Australian houses,
Dont get me wrong they are great,

I was just wondering if somebody is, or has thought of doing this,
just to have a bit more variety of color,
Or if the files are available to be reskined at all?

I'd be willing to oblige.

Any feedback is welcomed.

How about listing the kuids/names. I'm a skinner and will take a look at 'em for ya.:) I don't model Auzzie stuff but I like houses to be varied.

Any of the above would be great,

I was only thinking about changing the color
of the exterior walls, maybe paint the roof.

If you have the files, i wouldn't mind having ago as well.

The more the merrier.

Well, it appears that the texture files aren't accessible to us. We're going to need someone to re-create the structures in Gmax before we can mod 'em. Hmmm...:( Oh, well...
 
They are on the content art source cd.
I have it .
There are all the house files on it with textures.
I could send the textures only for skinning if you like.
 
Well, I see another problem. These are source files to be edited by us at will. Unfortunately, we still need Gmax to export them into .im/.lm files.
I'm afraid this little project has gotten a little over my head. The texture files are available but to create a kuid folder with the proper files in it is beyond my ability.

If you have the original textures, you should be able to edit them, and then alias the original built-in asset.

It means you only reference the AURAN Kuid (as a substitute of a mesh) in the config.txt file and add your own textures by reworking the original ones from the CCArtSource CDs to it. Check the CCGuide for "alias", it tells you how.

Hi all

Intresting idear, just woundering does it mean also if some of you have the source files that they could be regenerated for TC as well, both the orginals and the repaints
