Hi there, I was wondering what sort of Aussie Content is built into TRS09? Anybody with the beta or any info in general would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,
Brownie

Any that was built-in in TRS2006 is in TS2009. However, there isn't anymore (other than wallagarra station) in the current beta.

Oh ok, thats ok. I mean it wouldnt be fair on the other countries to have content from Australia.:p

Considering its an Aussie company aint it??

Anyway thanx for your response, ill find out sooner or later.

Australia has more content than most countries due to a greater following here than elsewhere (per capita). There are 13,000 items in TS2009:WBE, but just not a great deal of new content. That is one of the main reasons it is called "World Builder Edition" and not just TS2009. This enables us to get a stable and feature rich version into everyone's hands far sooner than if we were to wait for thousands of new items to be created. For loads of new content you'll have to wait for Engineers Edition.

So if there is more new content in the engineers edition it's pointless for us whom like to create routes, as the engineers edition is for Drivers, Correct? This "load of new content" will it be able to be available in WBE later on??

Sorry for all the possibly dumb questions. Ive been living under a rock for time now and only just remembered that a new version is coming out, now i can almost taste it, so im just trying to get a grasp on whats goin on with it.

Cheers,
Brownie

Engineers Edition will work like an 'add-on' pack if you have WBE installed. If you don't have WBE installed, then it will work on it's own.

Zec

That's correct Zec. If you own WBE and then purchase TEE it will install into the same directory. You will then have access to place all the new content into your routes.

Keep in mind that TRS2009 is only in Beta. Although there's a long list of routes to choose from, there is no guarantee that the list is complete, or all the listed routes will actually be available. Software developers like Auran always like to keep a few tricks up their sleeves so what you see may well be nothing like what you'll eventually get.

Awesome, thanks for the replies guys. I will just tilll she is released. Admin please feel free to lock this thread.
