ATLS crossings

I watched a tutorial on them and made a crossing that has traffic stoppers and crossing gates, and they both work, but a car stopped on the other side of the crossing after making it across, because it was stopped by that sides traffic stopper. I would like help with this. I also noticed that when a train passes, after a little while the gates go back down, I think I just need to switch the controller to a different mode. Also, how do you make the road not go below ground when you attach it to the traffic stoppers. I have made it work except I NEED to know how to raise the stopper a little bit (.35-.40) to make it work. I cannot find the answer anywhere. I just need to know how to precisely adjust objects' height.

If you hold shift while you use the Height Change tool you can raise it by .05 increments.

Make sure the ATLS Controller is in "Level Crossing Mode". Then make sure you have 4 triggers on the track, 2 either side of the Crossing, and it should then stay active till the train leaves the third trigger's area (As dictated by direction of travel).

I tried this, it works perfectly, I even deleted the two outer triggers so the cars only stop when the train is a few feet away. This crossing doesn't have any gates or flashers so it would look weird to have trains stop when the train isn't very close.

Do a CM Search for "ATLS", and make sure you have all the different stoppers. Theres one big one thats all black (I think its labelled something like 16M or something?), thats usually the only stopper I ever use. It stops the traffic far enough away from the tracks for almost any reasonable Crossing Gate Setup, and prevents all traffic from appearing within its area of operation.

After that, do a CM Search for author "bnsf50", and you'll find TONS of US Gates to use.....

You can use Level Crossing Mode with just 2 triggers, but there can be issues with it IIRC. There are issues if you use 4 as well, but they're fewer and more stable IIRC.
