Arizona Trainzers

I moved (to Maine) from Flagstaff in 2001, and I'm currently modeling the BNSF from Winslow to Seligman and also the Grand Canyon.

I am over in Benson about mile from the East West Main line.I know where surprise is, last year we were in Phoenix. Glad to know I'm not the only desert rat on here :-)

Well, actually I am only a "snowbird" to Phoenix, AZ, escaping in March the winter in Germany. But click down on "My content" - some will look familiar to you!

I *was* an Arizona Trainzer, lived in Ft. Huachuca from 2002 to late 2005, but now I live a bit further away. I still miss the hummingbirds and the cactus, and I really miss that Road Runner.

While on about this, I've never seen any "Wild West" vegetation assets like cacti, sagebrush, Mesquite, or even tumbleweeds. I'm sure they exist somewhere.

Happy to see more and more AZ Trainzers comming out of the desert:hehe:
I belong to Maricopa Live Steamers anyone been there before.
I would like to meet some AZ Trainzers sometime, what do ya think...

Who?

I'm currently over the border in Sandy Eggo, Cahliforneeah (as our beloved Governator would say) but I grew up south of Tucson. The road to our house went through the middle of the Sahuarita switching yard. For years I thought trains always stopped in the middle of the crossings and went backwards before continuing.

Arizona has enough degrees right now, about 100 LOL

It's actually closer to 110F at the moment. Still,

I wanna be a cowboy, with all them jingly spurs.
I wanna be a cowboy, and move them blasted herds!
I wanna be a cowboy, holed up in some town.

In this case, a crown is an old English coin.:p

Well, I'm in Blythe, California, but I can see Arizona through my kitchen window. It's about 2 miles away. I'm new to Trainz Simulator 12. Did some playing in the old MSTS until I got a 64-bit computer with Windows 7, where it will not run. Hope to create some good content.
