Yeah, Miami's great but you don't really get that much action on the tracks. According to FEC cabride footage dated back before 2000, I must admit that the manifest portion has seen better days. Some track shown in the video isn't even there anymore. In that video the FEC downtown local was there, and that train takes a lot of luck to see...

speaking of which, i saw my first train in a while!
It was an Amtrak P42 from Chicago and its number was 89!
The back engine was a F40PH.

I assume you're reffering to the cabbage variety of F40PH? (Cabbage= Baggage+Cabcar) I'm not sure there are any Amtrak F40PH's left that are true locomotives...

It was in next to the street and there was (from what I saw from the shuttls bus) a CSX GP40 or 38 long-hood forward with a few coal hoppers or something. Man that was a great vacation in the keys! I passed that spot again went we went the same place in the keys...but no train.
If your wondering what key it was...it was duck key.
Anyways SORRY FOR WAFFELING!
