Anyone taking a camera to Disney World?

I'm looking for photos of the Walt Disney World Magic Kingdom monorail station, especially pictures of the railings queuing people waiting to enter the trains (if it's done like the Epcot station is), details at the ends of the platforms (railings, walkways, roof supports), and any signals that may be in place.

I have pictures of the interior and the roof structure and most of the interior textures. I just need a more complete floor plan.

Thanks in advance for anyone willing to snap a few shots that may be the last research I need to start the station for the WDW Monorail Project.

JFE.

Looks like I'll be going to WDW on Aug 9th. Feel free to send a shot list and I'll do what I can.

To the old thread police: Yeah, I know this post resurrects an old thread. Get over it.

i'm curious why the monorail project picked the disneyworld version, when there are WORKING common carrier monorail SYSTEMS carrying real life commuters in japan every day. both the 'alweg' straddle style and the safage suspended from bogeys in a box gerder with a slit in the botom to hang the stock from. systems with multiple passing sidings, and numerous stations. even one (the shonen, which is of the safage type) with a tunnel!

If I remember right then the WDW and DLR monorails are the only monorails in the US that carry the most passengers.

well there's also seatle, but my point was, why in blazes would/should such a choice HAVE to be limited only to the u.s.?

while i'll not argue against there are many good things about the only country i've ever lived in, as guideway based transportation in ANY form goes, it is NOT one of the world's most blessed.

I'm not sure what you're complaining about. If you're not happy with what someone else is creating, create something yourself that does please you.

Lets see... the WDW monorail system averages between 80,000 and 150,000 passenger miles a day over 13 miles of beamway moving people between parking, the hotels, and the parks. I'd say it qualifies as a "working system."
