New York City over here! Well actually Staten Island, NY but that's the 5th Borough of NYC anyways. It gets kind of boring over here in Staten Island but I love the hustle and bustle of the other boroughs.

All we have in Staten Island is a one 14-mile train line that I would say more than half of all New Yorkers don't even know exists, called the Staten Island Railway and it's completely free outide of the northern terminus (St. George Ferry Terminal).

I live in NY as well, a small town a few miles from the National Baseball Hall of Fame in the very center of Otsego County:)

Hi nysvrwx,

Well, I think that makes at least three of us in the Capital District area. Anymore out there. It would be neat to get a sort of local Trainz club.

Regards,
Todd

Guilderland, NY here. That's a suburb of Albany. Retired carhauler. Worked out of the Selkirk Yards for a gazillion years. Our yard was about 50 feet from the north departure tracks. Got there right after the NYC merger and went through Penn Central, Conrail and CSX with a satellite terminal 10 miles away in an old army depot, serviced by the D&H (70's)

any NY guys out there?
come on in here and check in!:)

I live in South Florida now, but was born in Oxford New York. Living on Mechanic Street meant that the railroad tracks were in my back yard, and the train depot was just a few houses away.

This village is so small that the "You are now entering Oxford" and the "You are now leaving Oxford" are on the same road sign.

The gas station attendent IS Goober!

Recently they had the entire town carpeted.

This is NOT a big place! But I do miss it.

Now I am in Palm Beach County and model everything FEC.
