Any More Celebrities?

Vern

Trainz Maverick
Browsing the DLS the other day for houses, I happened by chance on a rather stunning model of Amy (god rest her chemical addled soul) Winehouse, in both sitting and standing positions.

Feel duty bound to give the poor gal a resident guest appearance in any of my route projects from now on.

Just wondered if there are any more little Easter Eggs of celebrity-alikes lurking on the DLS?

Mr Vern,

I do hope & pray that there are no more of these lookitmeeee kreetures infesting the Trainz landscapes. One gets utterly tired of their appearance & prattle down every medium on the planet. Even a Trainz passenger is more interesting and attractive!

Lataxe, who would send all the celebrities off to Planet Zog with a one way ticket.

There's a Tom Baker in Doctor Who guise in the TC3 passenger set, and a guy who looks suspiciously like the Edge from U2.

Hi Vern.

These three actors are available, in character, as a group:

Harry <kuid2:68787:100406:1>

I can’t get in to the DLS to see it is there. I got them from the HPTrainz site (remember their excellent Advent Calendar giveaways on the Forum last Christmas?) It looks very high poly.

@Lataxe
Having seen your post you won’t want to download this one then. If you did I reckon, with appropriate sorcery, you'd be transported to Railworks!

Chill out Lataxe, surely we are permitted a little humour in a route? It doesn't have to be all furrowed brow and intense concentratiom.

Those HP characters look seriously cool, may have to track them down!

Of course if people hate celebrity status so much, Trainz could be a great asset in turning things on their heads.

You could group them on a totally isolated single baseboard ... and just leave them there!

I can think of many more totally off the wall situations they could be placed in, but I won't post them. They are likely to offend.:D

Mr Vern,

I am now an official ole scrote and so allowed to furrow intensely whenever modern things arise. (Even more so for post-modern things).

Mind, Snr Prezzo has solicited from me a momentary guffaw, as I imagine the celebrity-things not only confined to one isolated baseboard but also required to serve as wheeltappers & oilers on a series of very mucky old steamers recently returned from pulling an offal train up Beattock. Back to reality with 'em, says I!

And when I were a lad "cool" was the desirable state of a Jubbly! Anyroadup, I generally find my reaction to celebrities is on your modern scale from "tepid" to "stone-cold". They all look the same to me! (Over/underdressed and preenish).

Lataxe, never a fan(atic) of owt - although I once did harbour a yen towards Gina Lollobrigida and yet another for Helen Shapiro (when I was 12 and knew no better, like).

I know Jessica Simpson is available as a scenery item on the DLS under the rather unflattering title of 'Bimbo' ;) It's one of the old 'billboard' style of figures released by diecastgalore and it's KUID is kuid:78865:35009.

And even though I'm not really into Harry Potter, those HP figures still look very good. :)

hi MP
harry or the kuid cannot be found on the black dls or at hptrainz

all i can find is a billboard
cheers

Hello Ron.

I'm pretty sure I got it from the Advent calendar in this thread from last December.

There were several items including some great sets of other male and female 3D character, cars and boats etc. It was a very successful and welcome gesture.

You can still see the house with the Advent calendar windows, but the few that I tried all now seem to be closed links. However, it might be possible to contact the OP, Lotharhake, via his profile which carries several links, in addition to the usual PM/email options, to see where they might be obtained. He is still active and was on the Forum yesterday.

Cheers
Casper

We all know old farts rule. How do I know zis? Cause I am one too :P
With all respect to our english friends who are used to prefabricated popstars,
I suggest Amy Winehouse will contribute the same quality product in TRS as she did in real life.

Our Australian equivalent would be none other than Lara Bingle.
Seen her latest (rumoured) unclad pics?
Who cares! :hehe:

*bows Thank you, \o/ goodnight!

I didn't like this girl at first, (Neoklai Woman Bikini Top) (found under Classics 1&2)
But now, sometimes, I actually like having her around.

Ha, ha, spot on. Reminds me of that old World War 2 song that German troops sang then ours in Britain took it up. Lily Marlene!

You know, it is truly disgusting that "Bimbo" from the year 2004 has been downloaded 167,724 times. No, that would be 167,725 times (I just downloaded it) ... :hehe:
