I've reskinned Tomdeu's SNCF RTG 'Turboliner' into Amtrak colors. I'm not sure whether the guy left and is not trainzing anymore. I'll e-mail him through the forums here, though. Here are some pics:

Those Turbos used to run the Hiwathas from Chi-Town up to Milwaukee. Gonna hafta grab that when it's out... :udrool:

They do look good! I hope you have been working on the config for them to work in TRS2006, because I see reskinned TC content in those shots! -Chris

RE: ANF AMTRAK RTG TURBOTRAIN

Hi Guys!

Its very hard for me to get the Turboliner's Amtrak logo put in the right place so I've been in CMP, TC, CMP, TC, etc. I've also got to contact the original author, Tomdeu to allow it's release. Like I said, It's all prototypical. As for the X2000, all I have to do is contact the author and just tweak the config file and release it. Due to the horizons being TC, I'll see if I can do it for the phase III, IV, IVb, Capstone* Coachclass, and the Capstone* Business. But why really use the TC one? I've got a Phase IV and IVb for the ones on the DLS. WITH A DINETTE! as with the TC ones, these are really just Metro North shoreliners. BTW, I've been reskinning the P32 to look like a P42. I thought It would look nice because it has ditchlights. I also have a route pulling out of the dust! A TC version of the ex-San Diegan route: The Pacific Surfliner.

I'm afraid it's not available, and I don't even have the reskin anymore. I never did get a reply from Tomdeu, it's likely he left the Trainz community.

Isn't this the part where Nick jumps in out of nowhere with a W.I.P. Rohr Turboliner model and we all go oooooooooooooohhhhhh...aaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh

Now that the thread is here, amazing model, FWIW.

Is it really that hard to send PM's, folks? Just some 2c.

Common sense indeed. Every time I see something I like, I send a PM to the poster to see where it can be obtained.

(Mind you, I still haven't found the first one, a wooden SJ Electric!!!) :hehe:
