Amtrak wreak in my home town oh no.

Emergency personnel respond to the scene of a train derailment in Hanford, Calif., Monday, Oct. 1, 2012. Two cars and the locomotive of the train car derailed after colliding with a big rig truck in California's Central Valley, authorities said. At least 20 passengers suffered minor to moderate injuries, authorities said. The crash occurred when the driver of the big rig carrying cotton trash failed to yield and hit the train, authorities said. The impact pushed the two passenger cars and the locomotive off the tracks south of Hanford, a farming town. (AP Photo/Gosia Woznicacka)

I know we are looking at the loco but is that the frount of the back of the train?

Because it was heading South, the cab car had to be at the head end. Plus, the P42's marker light's were on in previous pictures I've seen. Normally all CDTX trains head with the Cab Car headed toward Bakersfield and the Engine always heads to Oakland/Sacramento. So is appears the truck driver just forgot (under the influence perhaps???) to stop at the gates. Resulting in the second and first cars to derail along with the engine. When will people learn.

All that cotton waste, gone to waste.
The truck was probably headed for someplace important like the Cottonelle TP plant, all in a hurry to get there.

Alot of truck drivers are migrant workers, (hired cheaply by small time companies), with just a working "Green Card", who have multiple moving violations, multiple DUI's, and can not read, not understand the English language.

What does that stupid RR "X"ing sign mean ?

Tequila Ahead ? :hehe:
