Alco Spoken Here
I have a number of questions that I have as of now, and instead of starting separate threads, I might as well just ask them here.
1) To my understanding, the PRR had some M1 locomotives dedicated to passenger service. What numbers were these locomotives, and what distinguished them from the regular M1 types?
2) In 1938, were the Spirit of St. Louis and Liberty Limited all pullman trains, or did they carry coaches?
3) Were any cars that Pullman rebuilt as part of the betterment program painted in the Fleet of Modernism scheme?
4) In Pittsburgh, the PRR had a secondary terminal for the Panhandle division. Did any name trains terminate at this terminal?
5) After the majority of the streamlined fleet was re-equipped in 1948, what was the disposition of the two PS211a observation cars built for the Spirit of St. Louis?
