Going back in time...
Ok,how do you change the names of attachment points?
This is for my use only. None of what I am editing will be released without permission.

I am willing to learn how to do it.

P.S. Sorry, I misspelled the thread title.

Unless you have access to the original mesh, I don't think that you can change the names of attachment points.

Well in AttachmentMaker you can modify attachment points, so you should be able to change the names.

I didn't know AttachmentMaker would do that, but it's good to know. I haven't tried it, but had assumed that it only added attachment points. We all know what happens when we 'assume', don't we.

AttachmentMaker can't do that.

The reason that the responses to the original enquiry here lack detail and good information is because this is the wrong forum for such a question.

Content Creation Support forum is the appropriate forum.

Thanks for the verification.
This may not be the right forum for the question, but I don't think it being in the wrong forum is the reason that the responses lack detail or good information. I think it's because we who have responded don't necessarily know the correct answer. Granted, the OP would probably get a better answer in the correct forum.

Sorry No!

Attachmentmaker can only modify attachments in the extra mesh it generates.. It cannot modify (edit) the name, or anything else for that matter, of an attachment in a normal mesh.

Please understand that I am constrained in many of the features I could provide in order to comply with copyright laws and to maintain any sort of friendly relationship with the team at Auran/N3V games. I have tried to provide useful tools, but not ones for hacking data.....
