I have been building my TRAINZ 2006 layout, "Liberty Route" based on a room-sized N-Scale layout I had started in 2000 while living in Shellsburg, Iowa. The "Powder Mountain Division" is a work-in-progress, even now.
Although, now the apartment complex I live in does not give me the space to physically build it, TRAINZ makes up for it in virtually unlimited expansion.
Building this layout has given me HOURS of fun, pleasure, and satisfaction watching it grow, and "come-to-life". In the course of the past year and some months, I have acquired a huge amount of material via DLS, and in all honesty, could not have built this without the help of all the developers, and builders that provided their knowledge, and skills. I owe you all a HUGE THANK YOU for your great work, and guidance.
A side note, to CloakedGhost275; The Union Pacific GETL that you provided in DLS is an awesome addition to my UP/ATSF based railroad. I have had the good fortune to visit the Illinois Railroad Museum in May 2005, and got close enough to the X-18 to "smell the smoke".. She is really something to see. Thank you for the opportunity to have one of my own. :Y:
