Given the self-made issues N3V has had with the DLS I have no idea what is wrong and now I do not care. I went ahead and downloaded the rule. It appeared on Local but as disabled. Enabled and now it shows as a nice functional rule. I really DO NOT want to mess around but I would rather USE the product. While this is a weird, but harmless, thing it is just annoying.
Reading all of the stuff that others are dealing with you have to assume that the attempt by N3V to clean up the DLS junk was not a roaring success. Management ignored sloppy programming and lax enforcement for years. I really hope none of those incompetents are still around. While the attempts to clean up the mess are beginning to work a complex set of problems was treated in a simplistic way with insufficient understanding of the intertwined issues that built up over the years. Perhaps current management and the technical staff simply could not sort out all of the inter-linked faulty items and stumbled ahead to where we are now.
Anyhow Anthony, the differences you and I see are probably a left-over from the "cleanup". But they may just be a clue to yet another more serious issue that will bite those who design the "things" we we all enjoy.
