Nice to see that some prosperity is returning to an area which needs it. Also notice the old geezer who was against the line reopening. He wants the land 'returned to the people', and was arguing the toss on a bogus environmental standpoint, completely missing the fact that the railway's re-opening is far greener than a road-based alternative. And I bet if he actually asked the people he was advocating the land should be returned to, they'd almost certainly tell him that they'd prefer the jobs and economic prosperity reopening the line creates rather than the ability to wander about in a field whilst they have no job. Fine for him to say 'not in my back yard' when he's past retirement age, but he obviously doesn't give a crap about anyone else and especially those who are young and actively looking for work. They shouldn't have given that selfish man any airtime. What a self-centred old git.
