 Here is a memorandum to the Mayor & City Commission from the City Attorney's Office about the agreement with Freightcar America, Inc. for the Purchase of 6 Rail-cars...in other words, the City of Lakeland, Florida got a review on how freight-cars are bought...

The City of Lakeland(LAKX) lost 6 Bethlehem Johnstown AutoFlood cars purchased 5-1991 to the CSX in a wreak.

The claim was settled with CSX, that happened to not be in the coal-car buying business...

The contract with CSX caused a fluke that required replacement of the cars to the City's fleet....

This is the comprehensive quote for a set of 6 Freightcar America built replacements, including the average purchase price of a non-rotary equipped AutoFlood way back in 2007...they are the cleanest coal cars rolling by you in the LAKX fleet.

Here is the minutes of the meeting of why they had to buy new cars.
