hello,guys. look, for those who have been to this thread:

let me say a few things...:(

sigh... look. i'm sorry for what happen earlier, i'm just a little upset about the fact that i can't seem to get any of my downloads to work on the computer, it's just that whenever i try to download anything from ben neals c-16 tank engine to mrtrains fabulous gs-4 daylight engine to leeferrs sp 2479, i just can't seem yo get them to appear on the railyard or to make them stay in the game whenever the next time i go back onto content manager plus whenever i start the game. it's always been my favorite gaming program ever since when i first got my first copy of trainz back in 2001 i guess, and when i heard about and saw all of the new engines on the download station and the various websites, i just had to get them, when i got my copy of trs2006, it took me about almost 5 years to convince my mother to let me join the online community of auran and trainz, but once i started downloadind, i ran into many problems and dependicies are missing and faulty like, but i dont understand what are trainz service packs suppose to do, are they like suppose to help you with the downloading process and get engines and cars to run smoothly on trs2006 and trs2004 or what, but it's cause that since i let this trainz stuff go to my head and everything and willing to make a tv series out of it one day in the future, i guess i was acting like a first class jackass. i never meant to start this war. i was foolish for what have done so if you all can find it in your hearts and minds, i want to say this...

i blame the dependicies for this and all of the complicated stuff you all have going on here for the last few days. so i'm sorry everyone. I've never did worth living a unfortunite life around here and all so i never meant it all so everyone, take my parts, and fufill your destinies.

Cuse me, that last line was from revenge of the fallen, my mind is broken!

Think before you post! "Talking without thinking is to shoot without aiming."

That thread is now removed...so move on...

The mass of assets & their dependencies, with the format changes including the fact of some assets broken from the start but working in a "forgiving" game, plus having to search for dependencies can get hectic...

Just back off your current issue at hand & run the game as before, you'll figure out a run-around...

But we don't want to bit the hand that bakes our bread...do we?
 
No idea what the original thread was about.

There's no substitute for experience.
Let's just hope that you're one of the few that actually learn from it as you go.

Well, then.....it sounds like the dependencies and complicated stuff should be the ones apologizing....:cool:
 
Apology accepted. We all get frustrated sometimes, but don't let that frustration spill over into the forums. We're here to help if we can, but we also stop helping when we're attacked.

You mentioned having problems with my SP 2479 and that you're running TRS2006. The 2479 should run fine in 2006. If you don't have all of the service packs for 2006, I suggest that you install them. I'm not sure why you can't get the locos that you want to show up in railyard or why they disappear. If the service packs don't help, maybe someone smarter than me can help you.

yes, i have been having problems with your engine.

thanks for the info.

and i'll download the packs as soon as i can.

once i get your engine, i'm gonna download the SP 2472 chime whistle for your engine to make the others sound different.

There is only one Service Pack for TRS2006.

Go HERE to get the service pack for your version of TRS2006 (>Downloads>Service Packs)

and then go HERE and read the installation instructions.
Follow the instructions very carefully, without skipping any steps, to make sure you don't corrupt your installation.
