A little help in Surveryor

Hello all,

I'm wondering if anyone has any tricks on how to do vertical walls (about 40 feet deep) or cliffs. I'm working on a route and am considering doing a trench but I want it to be right. Any help would be appreciated.

You can't do 'vertical' landforms in Surveyor. If you need vertical, use a spline.

You can however get 'very steep' by manually tweaking every grid corner with either the 'Use Height' or any of the raise or lower controls in Surveyor....

If you want a cliff "Stonewall River Spline" from the DLS looks excellent and is at least 40 feet deep.

You should look at some of Sirgibby's cliffs at http://www.trainzone.co.nz/download.htm. Especially his Nature Series 2.
It's payware but not much cost for all you get.
