Today it's nine years that I signed up with this forum and I enjoyed most of my visites very much.

I wasn't very active lately but I still use my TRS2010 and build step by step on my Albula layout. But Winter is comming and then there will be more time again.

So thanks to Auran for surviving and continue to develope this great simulator and thanks very much to all the great content creators that make this game a phantastic wast of time

I'm looking foreward to the next 9 years.

. I (well, my brother and I) got my first copy of Trainz, the original one, many many years ago, I wouldn't be surprised if it is close to 9 years. At that time, a new game for the computer was like Christmas and birthday at the same time. We would be fighting over the manual, reading every detail until we had a computer we could play on. I remember we were at our grandparents' farm when we first got to try it, our mother had to install it on her work laptop, cause we had nowhere near enough patience to wait until we got home :hehe: . Obviously, Trainz was slideshow on that computer. We still sat for a long time playing around. We later got home and installed it on our desktop pc, and had lots of fun with it for many years.

Seems like Auran rewrote the dictionary as "Ultimate" is described as "final, beyond further ammendment". :hehe: So we got Trainz2004 - beyond ultimate. I was reluctant at first but I think it was a huge step forward and I embraced it eventually, doing lots of my best routes in it. I skipped 2006, loved the syncro-steam in TC3 and converted my 2004 stuff into 2009. Not yet tried 2010, still happy with 09. And still happy with Trainz, despite adverse events, after almost 10 years. I never get bored with it, can always find something new to try, thanks to all those clever and generous content creators out there. I remember the only content we had was that supplied with the original package. That wouldnt do for all the kids of today who want everything yesterday, but we managed and developed and got it all together.
