4-8-4 and 4-6-2

Two of my favorite steam locomotives: The famous Pennsylvania K4, and the 4-8-4 FEF Northern. What do they have in common? This: I cannot find even a mention of either of these being created for Trainz. I have 2006, and after much searching I cannot find either one. Is this because they're default content in a later version? Or has noone seen fit to create them? If anyone knows where either can be found, I'd very much appreciate that information.

It is possible that no one would make these for TS2006 as it is an unsupported version.

Hope that someone can help you find them.

Regards,

Couple I got;

CN U2g Northern,<kuid2:316:6213:1>
NYC K-11 4-6-2,<kuid2:96914:4760:2>

I don't use any steamers except the C-41 because it's the only one I could get to work with Raildriver. :'(

I found the K4 on the DLS, but it didn't seem right. Something about the proportions seemed way off to me, and I couldn't get CMP to download the tender...

Thanks alot for the FEF info, though.:)

And I don't expect them to be made now, but I figured there'd be some still floating around from when TRS2006 was the newest.

The K4s off the DLS,(K4s #5038 a.k.a. 'Elephant Ears' since she was the only K4s that the PRR put smoke deflectors on) is acurate for what she looked like, but a terrific model until someone makes a better model, which may or may not come.

Reading T-1 is also available. A 4-8-4. 2102 is the one owned by Andrew Muller of the Reading and Northern Railroad north of Reading, PA (once known as Blue Mountain and Reading Railroad between Sept 1983 and 1995). It has been out of service since Oct 1991. 4-6-2 425 was restored Dec 2007 and ran through 2010 and is currently out of service for repairs. All excursion trains are diesel this year at Jim Thorpe and the fall Port Clinton to Jim Thorpe excursions could be pulled by 425 but not guaranteed.
