2010 startup times

2010 arrived today. Installed on Pentium Dual 2,93, 4gb ram, [FONT=&quot]GeForce 9800 GT.
Really good with 2009. Installation took a while to read 2009 assets. Screen problems seem temporary, probably 1st time. 3rd time startup I monitored load time. Started at 14:11:00, session finally stable at 14:54:06. That's not an error; 43 mins to become usable. One of the installed routes and sessions, nothing weird. It might be fantastic when its up but I'm lucky I've got a laptop to while away the time. If this can't be fixed then I'm asking for a full refund; I'll post the thing back to you. Hi Haydn,

If by "Pentium Dual" you mean a Pentium D, then your machine is below our minimum spec for TS2010 and may perform slowly, however 45 minutes still seems rather ridiculous considering the rest of the system specs.

Generally speaking, we would consider "very slow" to be a 5-10 minute load. Anything beyond that suggests that you have a configuration problem of some kind with your hardware or software- for example a faulty or fragmented hard disk, or problems with your AntiVirus software or Video Card drivers. It's hard to say what might be specifically at fault on your hardware but it might be worth contacting our helpdesk and seeing if they can offer any suggestions.
