2010 ee committing assets

Is it normal for it to take about 10 min. to commit content. I have downloaded some freeware after upgrading to 2010. 2006 didn't take that long, so I'm just curious as all else works fine.

Have you installed the patches? This was an issue with the initial release of TS2010.

I have installed patches to version 49933.

TS2010 is a bit slower than TS12 for committing, but it shouldn't take that long or I don't recall it taking that long to commit assets.

You might want to defragment your hard drive. That seems to help a lot with Content Manager and Trainz operation overall.

The only things I've ever see take longer to commit are things such as SpeedTrees which can take quite some time on a low spec system.
