2010 button lag

I recently installed the digital 2010: EE on my computer, it worked fine when I tried it out, when i downloaded the 2 service packs, i found that when i loaded the game, besides the screen becoming slightly off resolution, the buttons are frozen when i'm in edit route mode, so i can't open the texture/scenery/loco/track windows etc

Any idea why this is? Should I reinstall the service packs?

P.S. My computer's tech specs are fine, so i don't think it's anything to do with my computer

Check that the resolution in Trainzoptions.txt is the same as in the launcher options.
