I wanted to get a quick fact-check on something I'm doing with a few stations. I've been having a lot of trouble finding a good low-level platform station (preferably with an invisible platform) that's also long enough to handle, say, an Amtrak LD-type train (800+ feet). One solution I had was to take 2 existing 300-foot stations and place them end to end.

Does this work? If I tell an AI driver to stop at the farther station, will the train still load/unload at both?

Andi06 has stations that you can adjust passenger height and also adjust the length that a train will load. You place your own platforms.

I know about the AJS stations, and my initial plan was to use them (and I've actually sort of reverted to that since I found a way to get the right spacing for my route), but editing platform height for each session would be annoying. I'd like to avoid it if possible.

Just create a basic session with all required settings. Use this basic session as a starting point for the creation of additional sessions.
