Hello all,
I have downloaded Phil Skenes excellent Harbormaster TS12 today.
I have got 2 missing dependencies. I would really like to learn how to deal with these myself and I am doing a lot of reading about Pevs tools and so on but I'm afraid I'm still at the stage where I just don't know where to start .... where to look , to see what needs to be done to fix them. The fact that there are not others posting about this problem, I am assuming there must be some sort of problem on my system.
I'm really not looking to be spoon fed but I'm afraid I am just not able to pick up the spoon at the moment.

The items I am having problems with are ...
Missing dependencies: JP - Crane Truck anim <kuid:524343:6070>
Missing dependencies: transport Crane boat catrine n 12 <kuid:524343:6099>
Thanks for any help,
Regards,
Paul.
PS I am running build number 48249.

Hello,

Hmmm, well, both of these items are on the DLS, so, I cannot understand why they weren't picked up by your CMP when installing all the necessary missing content.

Best thing is to go to the DLS and manually download them and then install them. If you haven't done that before, go to the DLS - http://www.auran.com/TRS2004/DLS.php
Log in using your Trainz password, etc. Navigate to the Search area - then on the left hand side you'll see Trainz Versions, click on all the boxes, then underneath the white empty section named Text Search click on kuid, then put in the numbers of the missing assets one at a time, it would be easier to just type in the missing numbers, for example, 12345:67890, then the asset will appear in a box, click on download and a cdp will present itself for you to download, click on OK and put the package into your My Documents section of your computer, repeat the procedure for everything you are missing, then go into your CMP, and on the top left hand corner you will see the word File, click on that and a pop up box will appear, scroll down to where it says Import cdp's, then another box will appear for you to navigate to your My Documents section and you can either install them one at a time, or, if you have a few items, highlight all of them and then press OK, this will then import the assets automatically into your CMP. Another box then will pop up saying Task Complete, and it will state if there are any errors or warnings on what you have just installed, close this box and go into the section marked Installed, underneath that word is a bar that says Asset kuid, click on it and it will put ALL of your content into numerical order, now you can find those items by looking for the appropriate kuid numbers and if they need to be repaired then you can do that accordingly.
You can then delete the kuids from your My Document area afterwards, unless, it is a route, or, a locomotive that you want to keep and therefore archive onto a USB stick later on.

Sorry, it's a bit longwinded, but, I didn't know a better way of explaining it, the more you download things manually, the quicker you will become.

Post back here if you have any further issues.

Thanks for the reply

Hi ex-railwayman, Thanks for the reply. I tried the method that you suggested. It looks like that was the problem. The original versions of those files must have been corrupt on my system. When I installed each one using the method that you suggested the issue went away

Thanks for your help.
Cheers,
Paul
