2 foot passanger stock

I believe Col Klink/Col Hogan has some 2 foot passenger cars over on Sirgibby's site. He's specialising in all 2 foot gauge at the present time.
They may also be on the TPR, too.

sirgibby's has both ffestiniog AND srrl. then there's the dhr project, which is also a two footer. i guess ffestiniog is tecnically 1'11", but vale and cricketh look sweet togather with srrl stock. my own very favorite of course is the srrl #5 'railbus'.

for the "one foot" 'bad joke', there are several things that might be construed that way. the letargue system, i know i'm spelling that wrong, as used on the listowal and ballybunnion (just gotta love that name), in other parts of the world where its also been used briefly on industrial tramways, has been refered to as a "pegleg" railway. there was also a train in india that ran on one normal rail on the ground balanced by road wheel outriggers on one side. it even had 0-3-0 loco's. that's wheels, not axils.
then there are, is, at least one set, i've seen pictures of, of a hernia gauge train built to be actually opperated by someone of limited mobility, in a wheel chair. so you could say, bad joke even so, yes, in a very real sense there are such things.

24ng Rolling Stock

Greetings to those 2ft gauge lovers. (and perhaps to those who have acquired 30ng interest.)

I have several renovated Sandy River coaches, flats and cattle cars available on Sir Gibby's "TrainZone"
and you may also find some of them at TrainzPro Routes.

May I add this side note :
In the beginning, Peter Pardoe-Matthews (Narrowgauge) built the Sandy River rolling stock along with Rich Blake (Slugsmasher) and at the time,
there was no "Industry-Active" for any of the products or passengers. This idea is relatively new.
Along with a good friend who understands Gmax and scripts, we both have converted Peter's cars to accept passengers, cattle and flatcar loads.
They all remain as Sandy River road names.

For those of you who have converted to 30"ng (2ft 6in), take yourself to TPR and find a new selection of this gauge.
Another friend and I have converted Peter's Sandy River stock into shortened versions of very special cars. All of these are 'un-decorated'.
Each and every one of these new conversions is "industry-active" and work very well, there is also a Baggage car and Caboose
that have many benefits.

Might I also mention that many of Peter's cars are still left to renovate and may only be found in these two locations - no place else - ever ! ! !
There is still much to do and these renovates are still listed as a WIP.

Thought you'd like to know.
The Colonel
