12 killed as train hits beachgoers in Spain

What a shame. They lost their lives by taking a pointless shortcut. I once knew someone who back in 1981, darted in front of a slowly moving Norfolk & Western freight train and he just barely got away from becoming rail kill. But, that brings up a bad thought of "What if the train had got him?" I may be 129 years old, but even I know when to play it safe.

Life is a beach ... I guess that shortcut (line jumping) to get to the ocean was all important, to get there first, before everyone else in front of you who are patiently waiting in line... They won't be making that same mistake twice.

Well, at 129 years of age I would hope so.:)

Have fun,

all of that just to get to the other side of the tracks without looking left and right for trains speeding in either direction, thats insane, that reminds me of some people who cross the street without looking for cars, again, this is another tragic example of what not to do when trains are running in either direction,I don't care for whatever activity it is,lives can not be replaced!:(
