Jeez that sounds eerily similar to great Britain and I that it was a mess over there but, that couldn't hold a candle because of the Corruption here in the states, what a mess, that is scary when a locomotive catches fire, the aforementioned segment of track being cutback, vicious speed...

Whoa , John, hold up, I agree, but it wasn't just McGuiness who fouled up things, his thugs were there working behind the scenes with him as well, also When you mentioned the potatoes, yeah I thought that was a interesting idea when it was moved by rail, but some of the railroads you mentioned...

Well, I guess when all of that happened back then, it got worse before it got better.

Nice find again John, Well I'm glad csx is rebuilding the lines that Morgan and McGuiness ruined, shady business dealings most times will get you in serious trouble, the depression was bad enough but there is some difference, some of their steam engines are preserved unlike the new haven who...

Him and his thugs should have been fired and then locked up on the spot for causing that much damage to a company that was struggling, I still am trying to comprehend on who put this fool in charge which resulted in the consequences mentioned above, that decision proved not just costly but fatal...

can't say I'm surprised, it is ridiculous that greed and corruption was running amok back in those days and still ongoing today, that kills companies both in the railroad world and that are not railroad related, and the paint scheme, I think I have to go on record and say that Patrick McGuiness...

play stupid games win stupid prizes, him and his goons got what was coming to them, it's disgraceful, goes to show you that certain slimeballs who does not know what the heck they are doing including those mentioned should have stayed away from being in the railroad business.

nice footage John, it's Just sickening on what just happened to that railroad, not from that year started, but heinous that the Talgo train was scrapped but all of their steam engines with none in preservation, what could have been one of the most legendary railroads of all time is just another...

usually, a 2-8-2 Mikado or a much larger steam engine would handle a train like this one, but today there was trouble on the horizon, one of the recently acquired former Southern Pacific Railroad mk-7 now mk-63 oil-fired Mikado fleet members was having issues with its firebox, so a smaller...

These former Southern Pacific Railroad 2-8-2 mk-7 steam locomotives instead of being scrapped were sold to the Tidewater Western Railroad and reclassified mk-63 , one of these was seen taking on additional oil and water.

That is Looking great, that kind of reminds me of the southern Pacific railroad with how the track crosses over itself btw, I'm envious that you are working for the railroad.

Sharp looking locomotives, a excellent addition to your railroad.

Looking great, I agree with you, any area where the railroad runs, that involves hills and other challenging terrain, it's a good idea to have the brakes to help slow the train down, might have to try that myself but with steam engines and air brakes.
