For the following information:
TLR = Trainz Living Railroad
IL = Industry Link
MI2 = JR Multi Industry 2
One thing I have noticed about TLR is that if you have an industry with a storage capacity of, for example, 100 items, TLR will only select enough rolling stock to fill that 100.
I guess...
I must say, I hate it when companies use the term "free".
Like when they say "buy one get one free".
The definition of free is "provided without, or not subject to, a charge or payment: e.g. a free sample." but in order to get the "free" one, you have to pay for the first one which actually...
Does anyone have a small working example of how to set up a TCL Depot that uses the "Drive to Depot" command?
I have tried watching the (one and only) Russian video but the setup still eludes me.
Cheers,
Colin
So to follow up on this.....
After watching a Russian video on youtube (and not understanding a word), it turns out there is a slight difference in how things are set up in the Input Table.
In the case of the S-Var commands you need to define the entries as follows:
svname,my_varaible...
Does anyone know the format you need to have in Input Table so that the TCL commands like "TCL Wait Variable", "TCL Check Variable" and "TCL Change Variable" work correctly?
I can get the commands like "Set S-Var" etc. to work if using the format svanme,my-variable in the table, but for the...
This is a known issue at the moment and (I believe) it has been addressed in the latest beta version.
Please don't ask when the beta will be released as an update as I am sure you will only get the replies "When it is ready".
This is not entirely accurate as shown by the above tests. The tankers have a capacity of 110,000 litres and the queue size was set to only 1000 litres with the result being that they still did unload.
I do agree though, that it is best to have the queue capacity set to equal or above the...
As this thread was initially about getting TLR to work with industry link, let me just reiterate that in order for TLR to see that a product is needed at an industry, that industry MUST have a consumption process even if it only produces one item every 24hrs.
Now I have done a bit more testing and seen your screen shot, I am not so sure about the minimum limit as your tankers are initially transferring 500 at a time whereas mine are doing 1000 at a time.
One test I have done is as follows using four tankers with a capacity of 110000 each:
Set the...
Did some more testing and it looks like bulk commodities (e.g. Grain, Crude, Fuel etc.) need to have a minimum queue size of 1000 whereas a product that has a queue limit of 256 (e.g General Goods, pallet items etc.) may need to have a minimum queue size of 1.
@norfolksouthern37 may be able to...
So I just did a quick test and if the queue size is too small, both the logs and properties say the tankers are unloading/processing but nothing ever happens.
I increased the queue size to 1,000,000 and bingo, the same test worked fine this time.
Although I have never seen that message before, I don't believe the "space" message is anything to do with the unloading length, it is more likely to be related to the size of the Crude Oil IN queue.
What is the size of your Crude Oil queue? In the previous images you show it with a size of 100...
When running a session, you can see the script properties if you "Control and Right Click" on the industry and select View Details. Scroll down to see the Script Properties as shown on the right of the image I posted in the previous post.
To see the "Client Logs" you have to have the Enable...
One thing I would suggest is to Split the Aviation Fuel and Diesel Fuel into their own queues as I have found it "appears" to work better that way.
Have you monitored the logs AND the industry itself to make sure it is trying to process something.
When you view the industry in a session, you...
