Hello, my name is Sam (Trainzboy88). I am going to be continuing/starting a Trainz project that I loved to watch be developed.

MY CURRENT PROJECT: CREATING THE ILLINOIS RAILWAY MUSEUM (IRM)

I've been a fan of the museum since I can remember. My parents taking me there for "Day Out With Thomas" and now that I'm going myself and seeing everything change is just amazing.

I've been building routes for many years and wanted to attempt to continue the work of Matt3985.

I was a huge fan of what he was doing, sadly he did have to shut it down due to personal reasons, which it totally acceptable. Yeah, it was a bummer for me and many others, I hope to continue this project as best as I can.

I am going to be using BaseMapz to get google images of the map and build off that. There are already many creations that I thank Matt and others for commissioning, as it will make this faster. Granted not everything has been created, I think I can still find workarounds.

I am currently working on the map in Trainz Railroad Simulator 2019 (TRS19) and then once I get a lot done in there, I plan to release that map (with updates hopefully) and transfer it into Trainz A New Era. I might have some trouble with doing this, but I will try my best.

I hope that I can get help with some of the new buildings at the museum and some of the layout. As I am not a volunteer there, but I go as much as possible. So I am always trying to get the most up to date information there and to update my map ASAP.
