    Br class 08 usage question

They were often outstationed at places some distance from their home depot and they would typically be driven to the outstation yard very early on a Monday morning and returned late on a Friday or Saturday - perhaps not every week, but certainly every two or three weeks at least for refuelling...

The route 'Somewhere Scotland 1948-1964' by evilcrow has the lineside appartus installed, as does 'Dearnby & region V3.0' by Lataxe. Unless I'm mistaken the installation at Durham is on the down line before the viaduct?

Chris Sprague {Nawlins} died last March

Sorry to hear this news. There are a number of great proto UK routes uploaded by Chris (in collaboration with others) that have been some of the best available at the time. My condolences.

UK Screenshots for Pre BR Blue. High resolution warning.

Couldn't jayhollands's 'SR/BR Station Platform Canopy Spline Gabled Ends' suffice for now? 381430:1086 I have an interest in this part of the line - I was in the early stages of making a smallish basemapz route of Bournemouth West and Central when you started on S&DJR.

    Dovetail - N3V 1 : 0

"Each to their own" unless you have an alternate view when pware has to robustly defend his viewpoint..... again. For someone who loudly professes to not caring about prototype, you do seem to have a lot of reskins of one loco with just a different number. Now why would you bother...

    Dovetail - N3V 1 : 0

Indeed, and I think we agree that some compromise is always necessary - the railways were and are a constantly evolving thing. There does seems to be a tendancy for perfection to become the enemy of the good. Sometimes it is better to just shove something out, and improve it later, than sit it...

    Dovetail - N3V 1 : 0

It does slightly amuse me that in this discussion about realism, the video promoting the vans shows (at 5:12) green-liveried EM1 locos fitted with multiple-working apparatus - something that never actually existed IRL. Anyhow just my little observation...... but I think it illustrates that...

    Anyone Know Where Bloodnock is

Nope not me, and that's not a route name I'm familiar with.

    Anyone Know Where Bloodnock is

He's gone back to physical railway modelling - and has a YT channel called Dongits Model Railway.

What's going on here then? - BR 9F Evening Star & Black Prince

So they will never be released? Oh but he didn't actually say that did he, so the question stands. What is the release policy.

What's going on here then? - BR 9F Evening Star & Black Prince

Some spectacular missing of the point going on here, and thanks I have a job. If all DLC remains behind subscription forever, then there will be no DLC for anyone to buy (thus making a 25% off offer a complete waste of time). If this is the policy why doesn't N3V come clean and say they are...

What's going on here then? - BR 9F Evening Star & Black Prince

I thought the problem was you can't buy some DLC even after three years in the Gold world, so that 25% discount is of no use - or are you saying Gold users can buy DLC other non-subscription people cannot?
