Trainz 22 Platinum steam version here, it took me some time to locate the odometer but it works with sufficient precision!

I agree for the memory issue, even Tane struggles on some routes and playing normal having 8 GB. My advice is to expand your memory to at least 16 GB and start from there.

The same situation for me too, i tried but it is not possible and for the same reason.

Well i do not have any experience with different versions, i think the wise choice is not to buy different versions, follow what you have chosen from the beginning so to avoid content from being less compatible. Good thing for you that every old content is added!

As steam owner of Trainz i can confirm that every dlc i bought for Tane steam version works in Trainz 22 steam version correct. That was the reason i bought Trainz 22 to have backwards compatibility which is very true. Some content might need a bit work to appear correct like some others not at all.

Great job on this route! Transfer coal from A to B in general is my biggest interest in Trainz, so how not to be satisfied with your route when all it has to do with is coal delivery? Tested and suggested (y) I have also to report not one missing asset! Hope to see an update for Trainz 22.

Normally i think they work solo but if you want to couple them together as one then yes it is possible. The way you can couple together every engine in Trainz the same way is for switchers too. Choose kickstarter for example create a new session there choose your switchers and couple them...
