Where did 'drive to trackmark ....' and 'navigate to....' go in driver?

But John, When I am working on my route, I want to be able to switch from 'surveyor' mode to 'driver' mode to test a stretch of track for correct signalling and other errors , this never gave any problem but now the latest SP really f***** it up, I'm not paying for a subscription each month...

Where did 'drive to trackmark ....' and 'navigate to....' go in driver?

I didn't look further down in this forum, it seems I am not the only one having this issue and an EDR -should fix it, I'll start one now, hoping it'll be fixed after the EDR. Holy cow, I feel sorry for the people starting with Trainz, I absolutely love the game, but this must be the most...

Where did 'drive to trackmark ....' and 'navigate to....' go in driver?

Trainz plus here. build 132284 I had to reinstall it due to a stupid error on my side. Anyway...lately I have been focusing on working on my route without paying much attention to this forum. i was about to test a stretch, running a train to a certain trackmark I placed. ( CTRL+ F2) To my...

A fix for track not acting like track until N3V fixes the bug.

Not so long ago i wrote a post in this forum about the system with tracks and splines being too confusing..it was as if I had punched a hornest's nest by the look of the reactions, I made a problem about something that wasn't a problem at all, and more like that. I hope you don't mind me...

Thank you for this, John, this is something for a session once the route is ready for one. Ron

General info needed about prewar RR's in the US

Apologies for the late reaction..I am down with a flu and not happy about that at all. Anyway, I browsed Amazon for these books, both copies are available ( second hand of course ) but the prices are ridiculous, one is 55 euro (The interurban era) and the other is 157 euro (U$ 58 and U$166) ...

General info needed about prewar RR's in the US

Wow, both of you, many thanks for all the information, it gives me a good insight in prewar (interurban) rr traffic in New England. On30, your info and that blog helps a me lot , thanks. John, as usual you are a treasure chest of information, I'll look at the Trainz Forge link and the usernames...

General info needed about prewar RR's in the US

Hi guys, obviously I don't live in the US as you can see from the title of this post, so the answer to my question could be simple to you but I guarantee it isn't for me. Here we go: I have almost finished building my ( large) fictional interurban rr. route with a mainline connection (B&M, NH)...

    Track & splines....or should I say write 'splines=tracks'?

Am I the only one finding it extremely annoying that many splines ( not all ) now have to be treated as track ? When building a route I guess it isn't much of a bother but when 'renovating' an already existing route it is a major pain in the arse, it was perfect before ( I have no idea when this...

    SLW ...again?

Today I received this email: Hello, I would like to remind you about the impending end of the SLW website. There are only a dozen or so days left to buy models. Unfortunately, due to the negligible interest in steam locomotive models, the SLW website will not be rebuilt...

    Northeast Corridor Project (WIP)

The NEC is one of the few routes I like in the US, mostly because , as I live in Europe where passenger traffic is much more a thing than in the US, I am used to heavy passenger transport instead of freight lines. My interest in TRS is in creating and running combined passenger/freight time...

Help needed, website search for early 1900's interurbans

Hello all, Some time ago I stumbled upon a website that has a decent collection of downloadable US interurbans from the 1st half of the last century among other early traction locomotives . I didn't bother to bookmark the link and of course I want to download some assets from there now..I...

Easy fix for floating objects on layout.

People have complained that after installing a layout some objects are high up in the air instead of positioned at the ground level. I solve this issue as follows: use the copy/paste tool to select an area on the layout, copy the selection ( doesn't have to be exactly under the floating...
