Huh, that is a major issue. Hopefully it gets fixed soon. I look forward to future progress once it starts happening again, this is a very inspiring route, and I love coming back and just looking at the pictures from time to time.

While I can't speak with any level of certainty or authority on the matter, I believe that this is a longstanding issue with the software and/or the database used to store Trainz assets. That said, hopefully someone with more knowledge on the matter can chip in with a proper explanation of this...

Fair enough, but would it be possible to release just the e-specs and sound files? That way other Trainzers can download and then edit the original locomotives to make them use the new enginespec and sound files. That seems like the best way to share these files without violating any permissions.

You certainly can use RailDriver with TRS22, I have done it briefly myself. Haven't had a chance to really put it to use yet, though.
