Edit: Solved.

So even with creating a new data folder, pointing the path in settings there and relogging in, the Patch Installer.exe is continuing to copy over my normal/original Trainz Data folder. And still no progress dialog box appears.

So my name is prepopulated in settings, as is my password. However, it appears that the update is taking a complete copy of my build folder and dumping it on the same SSD - The build folder being almost 800gb (Years) worth of assets which is quickly filling it up to the point that it fails to...

So it was on an SSD with 1TB of free space - Strangely, when attempting to update, it created 4 entries for a total of 723GB of space... I've honestly never seen that before.

No matter what I do, I receive the following error messages;

I'm getting an error when attempting to update that the Patch is not viable. Details: Failed to determine checksum for E:\TS2022+\Trainz Plus\resources\prebuilt\assets.tdx Looking in this folder, I only have an asset-cache.tdx. Any ideas?

Will do. I'm on a fresh install now of Trainz+. I think part of the issue may have been using beta upgrades from TRS2019 into Trainz+ vs just downloading Trainz+. With Trainz+ I now am able to see the updater running, and it's considerably quicker. Given that, I have not yet experienced the...

So just an update to my above issue; Driver updates/reverts to various known working NVidia drivers has not solved the issue. Even more strange, when running in FullScreen I cannot get Trainz to open, and when it finally does, I have no grid on a route, and it's effectively frozen in state...

Was my thought as well, however I only started to encounter this after the most recent 2x patches. Patches prior to that had none of these symptoms. FWIW, I'm on a 4090, with a i7-12700K and 64GB of RAM, and my usage rarely is peaking 20% globally so it's not a hardware issue.
