The price we pay for a truly open (virtual) world. The alternative is a closed game which only runs assets (including routes) approved and cataloged by a central authority. Multiplayer Trainz for one user would be an approximation (but it has a good reason for being that way).

Maybe because I'm comfortable with it, but I think the *attitude* TS2009 exemplifies - embracing all previous versions - is worth memorializing.

True that. And even if color, composition, resolution, and everything are perfect some won't care for (or just won't be interested in) the content. "It can't be helped," as the Japanese say in fewer words.

That describes the problem this thread is about (see above). The previous problem of this nature was different - nothing worked except paging through the Gallery, and any search would cause a large Trainz advertising banner page to pop up instead. This time is different, but still not good.

I've found that selecting in a Windows folder and then clicking (not drag-and-drop) works for uploading. Though I usually edit screenshots a little before uploading, so they're not in the actual Screenshots folder. Could be browser-dependent?

Same here - DLS and https://jatwsorg.mywhc.ca/PWeiser/ . Should work in TNG except for one (recent) TS19. My standard "licence" is "Free for any use whatever."

Update: just checked and the "following" and "favorites" features are working normally - can be turned on and off for a particular image or a username. This was not the case in the previous outage: then, search for favorites and followed worked but you could not add or remove from those...

Agree. Symptoms are different, though: it shows the latest again instead of the Trainz splash page.
