Is it actually possible to download the 'Content Updates' for Trainz 2012 without buying a 'First Class Ticket'? I've been trying for ages, but the downloads often don't complete. Is there anyone here who's actually done it without paying extra?

For several weeks now, I've been trying to download the content updates (ie, the updates available box after you click 'Start'). However, I'm finding that a lot of these don't actually finish. They download (at 4kB/s!) to 100% but never actually complete, so when I start the game again it says...
