Can someone with TransDEM shift a DEM for me?

I agree with the above. I usually create the initial route as a TANE version and then import into TRS19/22 etc. I also note that depending on the resolution of the original DEM (1M,3M,5M,10M etc) there can be a slight offset between a TransDEM created tile built from Google Maps. DEM file and...

Trainz Gallery search broken again ?

Its a pity that 'they' dont fix problems like this instead of implementing glitzy new look stuff. PG

This shot is from my Sydney Metro route which has been a long time WIP - started it back in TRS2010 !! The North Shore line is the latest merge so the route now includes all lines from Hornsby in the north, Penrith in the west, Menangle to the south & Sutherland on the Illawarra. Due to some...

    Diamond Crossing

I would use an Interlocking Tower to define a path for each track. Also use of the ASB by Boat works well. Each of these options is well documented by the creator. PG

    Imagine this | AI

Just like using your GPS to navigate in your car, unless you provide specific waypoints you never know which way it will take you. Algorithms which plot the shortest route arn't necessarily the best route especially in country areas. I find it better to nominate 'drive via trackmark' in...

Phil. location of signals in the Main South sections are based on the NSW Curve & Gradient documentation with allowances made for use and operation of signals when running in Driver/AI mode. Generally the dual track sections of the Main South have a signal group at regular intivals (1-1.5K)...

    NSW North Coast Line

Changing the Grid to 10m has reduced the overall size to some degree (about 50Mb). Most of the early sections of the route were built from 2010 onwards before 10m grid was introduced, anyway so there wasnt to much of a difference. I'm now working on the scenery to update some assets and...

    NSW North Coast Line

I will be updating the full route now that the Main North is done. It will be from Coffs to Qld border via Kyogle and the Murwillumbah branch from Casino. As usual there are always some issues with assets in TRS2022 which work fine in TANE. I will make sure all track and associated assets are...

    TRS2022 Issues/Bugs

I've been testing my TANESP4 (Build 105766) Sydney Metro route and session in TRS2022 Plus (Build 129343) with some disappointing results. I've saved the TANE route & session to CDP and imported that into Trainz Plus, updating any obsolete assets and correcting as many 'faulty' as possible...

    repairing a TransDEM based map

I agree. If you can manage it I find that its better to put all Trainz content, database, etc on a separate hard drive, preferably a SSD. Leave your 'C" drive for the Operating System only. PG
