    Light post

I'm trying to find something quite specific for platform lighting. I can find plenty of standard lamp posts, but what I'd ideally like is a bulkhead type light attached to a pole as shown below. If anyone knows of same, I'd be grateful if you would let me know. Even a light itself would be...

Days are numbered for last UK HSTs in regular revenue service.

That Stirling to London service is operated by Lumo isn't it? Seat comfort is something that has gone totally out of the window in recent years. No more comfortably padded seats, the equivalent of a plastic patio seat with a thin layer of foam on top apparently being the norm these days.

If it was first class on an HST, the seating would have been 2 + 1, whereas standard was 2 + 2. I always went first if I could get a cheap advance fare. Normally £50 return from Edinburgh to London in the mid/late 90s. It would either be on a HST or its successor, the 225.

    UK Calling on signals

Thanks David, Apologies for the belated reply, I've been away. I haven't had a chance to test the correct way of setting it up but what you've put in your diagram is correct in terms of location. Converging double to single mainline with the yard, or Longrock in this case, branching off to the...
