Looks like it's going to be a great route!
Another WIP one from Cornwall 1980 and it's the Motorail terminus at Penzance. Not 100 percent accurate due to limitations on available assets, but not too far off what was once there.
More or less the same post as my last one, this time with the signal box (or ground frame as it was known) reskinned to more closely resemble the original and the trackside scenery finished.
Another one from 1980, sort of and it is a WIP. I forgot I had a rake of CDA wagons on the back of the 37 so not entirely correct as they didn't arrive until much later that decade.
A 37 approaches the unusual Middleway Bridge Crossing with its time travelling CDAs.
It's fudginator's 1980 reworking of your route Mark. I'm helping out with it.
I sent you a couple of messages via British Trainz regarding reskinning a sign for this. Would you mind if I did?
Cheers,
Innis
I'm using the GWR fixed distant signal by chrisaw which is a scenery item and would like to know if there's a track mark or invisible signal I can use alongside this which will always give an 'on' indication for the next signal?
I tried a search to no avail.
Many thanks,
Innis
Not a screenshot I'm afraid, but for anyone who thinks Embra - Glesga has gone awfy quiet, fear not. I'm helping someone else with another route at present and as soon as that's done, I'll be back to Central Scotland
Thanks for that. I've a feeling you could be right. The period in question is the early 80s so post Beeching. I'd be surprised to see the older type sign by that stage but who knows? The Western liked to be different.
Sorry to be a pain folks. I've tried the internet but come up with nothing. GWR used SW whistle boards but what I'm interested in finding out is when or if the Western region replaced them with the more modern circular boards?
Many thanks again,
Innis
Evening folks.
Given you're all building/running pre BR blue days, I'm hoping someone can point me in the direction of some decent signal wires if, indeed, there are any. I have UZ pulling sending semaphore ones but they're a bit hard do bash into something useful. I'm sure I used to have...
