An early foggy Spring Morning finds us just outside of Littleport, Minnesota. A Minneapolis bound Northstar commuter train meets Amtrak's Empire Builder as it heads west for Portland, Oregon, and Seattle, Washington via the Continental Divide.

On a warm spring day in the Pacific Northwest, BNSF train H-PASGFD3(04) waits in a siding in anticipation for a meet with Amtrak's Empire Builder. Included with the H2 ES44 leader is a former BN SD40-2, still rocking Cascade Green and BN logo. Plus, a repainted former BN SD60M, now in H2.
