Another thought. It seems that some beta testers are not finding issues reported by others. Put me in that category of not having problems. So, the question is whether the problem is the program code or the user's system and setup.

I have tested most of my routes now with build 131950. None of them use billboard trees or tree splines. I do use a lot of grass splines by jankvis. I have all the settings maxed out. My routes all have been converted to HD.

Same here. Maybe my routes are not as scenery intense, however I find it hard to see how I could add more trees and shrubs in my routes. All my rotes now use HD and settings are maxed out.
I have not noticed any improvement in the three largest routes I have. Maybe that is because I have not replaced my old trees with the plant factory trees.
The good news is that I have not noticed any issues with any splines, track, road, or grass. I am running my session with everything maxed...
Updated build 129343 to build 131950 with no problems. Update went very quickly. Ran several of my old routes and so far no issues.

But the assets should look better once we get the new update which they were built for. I still have the faulty one and can’t seem to fix it. I may just delete it.
N3V uploaded 400 plant factory assets to the DLS this week. I have downloaded them. Their newsletter of this week has a link to show what these assets are. It indicated that the release of the new Trainz Plus version which makes use of these assets is due very soon.
I notice in the settings for the Surveyor and Driver that there is no longer a check box for "Process Objects behind camera". Does that mean that this option is always "on", or does the new version no longer process objects behind the camera?
Download of build 131307 was fast and works fine. So far, I have not noticed any issues when running several of my large routes. Frame rates look good, and CPU and GPU usage is very good even with a draw distance of 22,000 m draw distance. Will keep testing some more today.
I install my beta tests, both the program and data on a separate drive. That way there is no confusion or risk on altering my official release version.
