    Can anyone tell me when automated crossing arms became common? growing up in a small town with two railroads going thorugh, I don't remember seeing too may of them anywhere when i was a kid. Just crossbuck signs.

    Totally agree that $10 is not too much. The quality of K&L's offerings never ceases to impress me, especially for the price.
