Is Mission Code Manager too buggy to be of any use?

If you are using an edition with the unified driver surveyor feature (such as Platinum edition) you have to quickly go into driver then back to surveyor for the missioncode manager to update, I do this when testing my sessions before releasing them, then the driver list has been updated so...

Is Mission Code Manager too buggy to be of any use?

I'm using Trainz 2019, I have never used the pathstops and stopzones or the Timetable feature, I just use the Wait until hour and Wait until minute driver commands then Load At for passenger trains or drive to trackmark for freight trains.

    Passenger-enabled stations...

I too use the AJS ones and don't have any problems, although I found that if trains skip past the stations without stopping upping the deceleration value in the engine spec config helps. I use the Load at command, which combines drive to and load.

    Rules and Paths...Hmm.

By junction stations I mean a railway station on one line, where another line starts and branches off. Missioncodes let you set all the interlocking tower paths a train will take along its journey on a route, so you set the missioncode at the start of a session then as the train goes along...

    Rules and Paths...Hmm.

I've never used a diamond crossing, and not sure how that would be signalled but I use them at all junction stations on my route, and loops which paths everything just fine (used with missioncodes), but it is an 80 mile mainline with various branch lines coming off along the way, so fairly...

    Rules and Paths...Hmm.

I have a few loops on my route which I never have problems with, using EITs AI trains will only go onto a path that you have set up before hand, and mission codes set what path to take before they get to the loop. You then use track circuit blocks on the single line section until the next loop...

    UK Screenshots (Hi Res Version)

Coldrennick Viaduct by Menheniot station now built as a custom asset as well! Fairly easy as it's very similar to Liskeard Viaduct, Keyham viaduct in Plymouth uses a similar design as well. Mark

Progress on updating Plymouth is still (slowly) ongoing. The remains of Plymouth Friary, the city to the left having been completely rebuilt. The River Plym in the distance. The rebuilt area around Sutton Harbour, Friary yard is in the middle on the far right. In the distance on the left is...

    Trouble exporting to CDP

Routes over 1GB can't be saved as a CDP, and will need opening for editing then the folder being copied to where ever you want to back it up, you can then submit edits.

I'm using a 3070 which runs everything I want without an issue. I think the render issue was a bug with Trainz Plus, pretty sure it was discussed on Discord months ago.

    UK Screenshots (Hi Res Version)

Great shots all! I have been making viaducts in the last 48 hours. Liskeard Viaduct, which was an original Brunel viaduct with timber trustles, which were replaced by bricks and a girder top on top of the original masonry piers. The Looe branch runs below. West of Liskeard I have added...

How do I join two trains at a station using driver commands

I'm in Trainz now, and have just coupled two Class 800s up at Plymouth with driver commands, the signal (P15) being green. Make sure the EIT paths start with P15 showing proceed, not automatic.

How do I get scheduling details for real world services?

Hi Rob, Found this while searching Cornish in the search feature. Yes, each branch line is worked (mostly) by a single consist which these days is a 2-car Class 150, although the Falmouth branch has two Class 2-car 150s which both pass at Penryn. St Ives goes up to a 4-car Class 150 from Spring...
