A lot of what I'm doing at the moment is correcting my earlier work. Millfield station was one of my childhood haunts ; it closed in 1955 and when my late father and I walked to the town I was fascinated to know what lay behind the filthy and boarded up windows. This morning I decided to improve...
The funny thing is that when I was tidying Seaton Bank up for my earlier photo I found that I had got the place utterly wrong as when I did it I didn't have the NLS website to help so I may just have to grimace and change it all. I did once find a splendid photo of a train double headed with a...
But the funny thing was that not all examples of the terrace were converted to track, just that one. The similar terraces nearby were unaffected.
I know it used to be common maybe 12 years ago when I got the ECML route and virtually all the roads had been turned into track.
The V2 heads towards Sunderland through Ryhope station at the bottom of Seaton Bank. The footbridge is my crude attempt at a reskin of the Tyne and Wear Metro liveried NER footbridge.

I don't know whether it's relevant but on my route there was "Missing Spline" which used to be a row of terraced cottages. I tried to delete it but couldn't until I tried Track and then I deleted it. For some reason it had turned into Track.
A Q6 crosses the A19 at Seaton. Sadly when I started building this route my research was poor and the road wasn't built till 1975 but I got carried away and put a huge amount of effort into building the roads and bridges so it will have to stay.

Seaton Bank Head was the top of the gruelling 1 in 39 climb from Ryhope station and although the box here closed in 1937 through the magic of Trainz it liveth again. I have a copy of a line plan from 1875 and at that time it had a network of sidings connecting with the Rainton & Seaham Wagonway...
Wapping Bridge was on the Leamside Line south of Penshaw and controlled the junction between the Penshaw Goods Lines and the main line. Nothing remains here now.

I've recently been trying to clean up content manager by deleting vast numbers of faulty assets , missing dependencies etc. I checked CM today and I have two pages worth of New Assets created by me which are Faulty. When I open Config there's nothing in there but my user name and the Kuid...
A V2 passes Ford Works signalbox between Hylton and Pallion on the outskirts of Sunderland while a Clayton shunts wagons for the paper mill below. The line closed altogether between Ford Works and Penshaw in 1967 but when the mill was destroyed by fire in 1971 the line was singled and all...
I don't know how to do that but I'll look it up. There were two entries in the config regarding max speed and I've raised both to 60 with no success.

These are a couple of my efforts and they are about the best I can do. It would be possible to replicate the lattice semaphore/colour light signal by attaching colour light heads to invisible track as long as you weren't bothered about the colour lights working.

It's many , many years since I had a third party antivirus and I remember it causing huge problems so I removed it and the problems went away.
I think it was Kaspersky.
