Hi all,
Found an educational video that shows how a video card processes a scene in a game and places it on your monitor for your enjoyment. It also shows what how models look and what it takes for your card to render the scene. Very informative if you are interested in the science behind video...
You can use F9 to see the grid. First touch is transparent and the second is the gray grid. If the squares look small it's HD. I wish there was a way to do a transparent texture to make the grid be like a see through window by using an alpha. Then you could paint just around the tunnel opening...
That's all very well done. But unless all of your facilities are run by robots you need roads for employees to drive to work every day to run those facilities and places to park their cars. Adds a little more realism to your world. Just a thought.

Hi John,
I'm not currently running beta. I had to download and reinstall trainz plus last night as I tried to uninstall Tane and it removed my desktop icon for trainz plus. Luckily I didn't lose my TRS22 folder or any of my content. I'm going to try running the non beta version for awhile...
Blue, If you can afford one and have a slot for it get an M.2 NVMe ssd and get away from hard drives. If you don't have a slot on your motherboard you can get an adaptor for cheap that will fit in a PCI slot of your motherboard. My build folder is 149gb and I did an Enhanced DBR last night and...
I build my own computers. I have a Rysen9 3900x Zen2 cpu on a Gigabyte Aorus Elite x570 motherboard with 32 gigs ram and an rtx 4060 8g gpu with the game itself stored on a 2tb m.2 nvme ssd. I have a 1440p monitor that I have tried using at 1080p to no avail. I have a Trainz plus standard...
A session is a pre set up set of tasks to do such as drive from point a to b and pick up passengers along the way. Trains to drive will be included in the session. To just open a route and drive pick the route you are interested in and open for edit. Find a place on the route you want to start...
If you can't find an alternative all you can do is edit the texture in a paint program such as Gimp or Photoshop and tone it down a bit. You might want to clone it first and use the cloned version so if you upload your route with the altered texture it won't be too bright for others when all...
You cannot change the model itself unless you have the Blender or Max files. All you can do with someone else's creation is reskin the model to conform with your idea for either a fictional RR of your making or another RR you have pictures for. Make sure to read the license to see if it's okay...
Nice rig. Be sure to check the power supply plug on the graphics card is seated fully. Make sure it didn't come loose in shipping. They still have an issue with overheating and melting. Otherwise I envy you being able to afford your nice rig. Let us know how well it runs Trainz HD terrain.(y)

I can't find a way to delete or overwrite scrapbook textures that have grass as part of the texture in tunnel openings or on track. If I catch it I have to alt z until it takes me back to before I placed the texture. I can't overwrite with another scrapbook texture. This wasn't an issue before...
I made a tire spline back in the trs2004 days that is still available. I made a go cart track back then. KUID 46819:38190 The go carts may still be available as well.
