I believe that I have now eliminated consist portals as the cause of the RTD's.

Here is image from the trainz profiler after a CTD occured. Could anyone comment on the two lines in RED please. CTD's are a constant problem for me been going on for over one year, ?I am unable to run a session through anymore so I am investigating all avenues.

I have determined that these phantom Drivers are attached to lost consists, you have to find them and delete them.

I deleted most of the text in the file, saved and opened session ok. It did not help my cause as it CTD again at , which I have not seen before, at the same position coming to rest at a station.

Maybe I could rephrase my question. If nearly all of the files content were to be deleted would it rebuild itself. Anyway I will try it by making a duplicate of the consist in question and try it. I will let you know the result.

If the Session - Edit Config File Text is deleted does the game re build it at the next Edit Session activity.
