Physical copies of TRS19 where limited time when the game first came out (I own a physical copy of TRS19). However, it doesn't use a product key so you'll need internet to authorise the game and re-authorise it every 30 days so it won't matter if it was physical or digital. Cheers

You can run *TANE and newer offline for up to 30 days at which you'll need internet to re-authorise the game. All other versions of Trainz from Trainz v1 to TS12 can run offline forever as they use the product key (aka offline DRM). *I've talked with N3V a few years back about the box copies...
