Ongoing Investigation: SP6 Route Performance & Redraw Issues

It's curious and somewhat abnormal that the DLS is so inflexible or rigid with objects that require a library, and yet if you upload a locomotive or wagon whose bogies are not in the DLS but are hosted on a website in "The Siberian Taiga", it appears in the content organizer with unknown...

Height of the impact zone for end-of-track bumpers

Thank you for your kind response. I understand that depending on the rail gauge, the height of the North American coupler and buffer decreases.

Height of the impact zone for end-of-track bumpers

Thank you for your reply. I apologize for bothering you. English is not my native language, and I may not have expressed myself correctly.

Height of the impact zone for end-of-track bumpers

In theory, they should be the same height; the only difference should be the track gauge. But looking at the images, there is a difference of 30 to 40 cm, and since there is no concrete data, or no one knows it, we will play a guessing game.

Is someone making oigawa rute on trainz simulator 2019

A video of the line, with Thomas the Tank Engine. What a great idea the Japanese had.

Height of the impact zone for end-of-track bumpers

I recently made some North American-style end-of-track bumpers based on Hayes Bumping Posts for 1435 mm track. I received a suggestion asking if I could adapt any of them for narrow gauge tracks (3 ft, 30 in and 2 ft). Apart from the track gauge, I realized that the height of the impact zone is...

why do the engines made by BritishLocoWorks3D have so many unknown deps?

The site mentioned in the previous posts is the second site in Eastern Europe to host content from around the world, DLS-style, but without asking for permission. Out of curiosity, I looked at how much of my content there is, and they have 113 pages with 50 objects per page. I counted 5,619...

Discussions about AI for and against content creations.

Regarding the number of textures, since Service Pack 5, the maximum number of different textures in a mesh is 8. If the object has a build lower than 5.6 and more than 8 textures, only one warning will appear. However, with a build of 5.6 and 9 textures, the warnings become errors and cannot be...

    Landrvr1 Content Sharing/Request Thread

The strangest thing is how easily some people share your email address with an Eastern European site. Good luck to them. Ignorance is the root of many problems.

    Colorado Narrow Gauge?

Accessing a FCT is easy for people in the developing world (North America, Western Europe, Australia, Japan, etc.), but for people in South America, Africa, and Asia, it's not so easy because a bank card or PayPal must be linked to a bank card. Have you ever wondered why the Steam gaming...

Forum option to ignore or follow a member

This forum has the option to follow and ignore another member. Does anyone know exactly how it works? Does ignoring mean I can't see the ignored person's posts? Or, can that person I'm ignoring see my posts on the forum?

    Ground texture scale

As I've seen, Trainz uses the main diffuse texture or albedo (kind: Ground textures) to place it on the ground with the scale dial at minimum on a 10x10 meter surface. As an example, if we create a classic cobblestone texture, we have to keep in mind that in real life, a rectangular cobblestone...

Ongoing Investigation: SP6 Route Performance & Redraw Issues

Does anyone know exactly what memory reduction is? What exactly does it mean when content creators say they have more time to reduce the amount of memory their resources use? Could it be one of these? -Reducing the number of textures an object uses from 1 to a maximum of 3. -Making those...

    Ground texture scale

As a demonstration of what I've said, I created a terrain texture in a few minutes with a 10 x 10 square grid, or 100 squares. When I put that terrain texture in Trainz with the scale dial at its minimum, as you can see in the image, it shows 100 squares on the Trainz grid, which is 10 x 10 meters.

    Ground texture scale

With all due respect to the creator of the texture, it is poorly made or designed. If we edit the texture in Explorer, in the main albedo texture we find approximately 4 rows and 3 columns of the cement cobblestones that can be seen in the previous images, so there are 12 cement cobblestones in...
